Theme Pictures from White's Chapel UMC - Southlake, TX

Our team has just finished out the second phase of a new digital theming project at White's Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, TX. Leila Carlson, the Director of Children's Ministries, shared her excitement about the latest addition: "I am thrilled with the project!!!  The guys did an amazing job of installing everything and they are always delightful to be around!"

This project included creating a whimsical, bright Faithville. One hallway is the Zoo, another is an amusement and water park, and the others include a sports/fitness park, city hall, bakery and shoppes. Together, they make up Faithville for preschool and elementary-aged kids.

Preschool Project Completed at Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater, FL

Our team was able to work with an existing theme concept and add new elements and artwork in the new construction of a Preschool area as well as incorporate theming into the existing children's space.

The project with Calvary Baptist in Clearwater, Florida, was a significant upgrade from the previous theme. Part of their issue was the peeling stickers and decals used by the original theme company. Our team replaced the peeling decals by painting airbrushed appliqués on-site to both remedy the problem and add a 2D relief to the walls for a cleaner look and feel.

We also added a new soft-contained play structure that is used during weekend and weekday services, but is also available for use by members who want to host kids' birthday parties, which is a great outreach opportunity for friends and parents invited to the parties.

Here are a few photos from this vibrant Preschool area, thanks to Howard Parker, Church Administrator at Calvary Baptist.

Preschool Entrance theming across the entire atrium
"The Father's Market" includes fun signage right on the main entry wall
Nursery entrance hallway with big signage and lots of window space
A new soft-contained play unit with lots of climb space and fun slides!

We are thankful for the opportunity to work with the team at Calvary Baptist and love seeing the great work of our artists and installers on display. Working with churches to reach kids and families of all ages is our passion! How can we help your church? Let us know by telling us here!

2011 Project Pictorial Recap

We took a montage of pictures from the projects that Worlds of Wow completed (to date) in 2011 so that we could share the fun, creativity and wow-factor of these churches! This year we have already completed 38 new projects and have even more coming for 2012.

It is a privilege to serve local churches and help them reach more families, connect with more kids and create amazing experiences. We are passionate about serving churches and our entire team is grateful that the Lord allows us to use our gifts to create ridiculously cool, fun environments that impact kids and families of all ages!

Blessings,

The Worlds of Wow Team

Gateway Church, Frisco, TX install underway

We're now working on the 3rd campus of Gateway Church (Southlake, Texas), with their newest satellite campus located in Frisco, Texas. Gateway Church continues to be amazing to partner with and our install crew is busy working on the new children's area theming, which carries on the same theme consistency across all three campuses.
Here are a few fun pics we took today:

Gateway Church's Frisco, TX, campus (stylized, just 'cuz)
One of our artists, Doug, lays on the base for the sidewalk scene
A large train appliqué is up on an unfinished wall
One of our airbrush artists, Brian, starting a new flower
It's fun to visit while things are in progress, as the art design flows from drawings to the church walls! We'll be sure to add new pictures within a couple of weeks once they're all done!

Themed Kids Ministry at Houston Northwest Church

Our friends at Houston Northwest Church (yep, in the northwest part of Houston, TX) are one of our newer digital projects. Most of the theming is done with digitally-produced artwork, and the results are just amazing!

We're excited to share these pictures we took on a recent visit to show you the fun, bright and inviting kids area of this fast-growing church.

The kids entrance is all about making check-in fast and fun!
The kids ministry logo looks sharp!

A fun check-in desk gets kids ready for the adventure!
While we were at Houston NW, we also took some new Panoramic shots.  To interact with the 3D panorama pictures, you'll need the Microsoft Silverlight plug-in for your browser.

We just love helping churches create these WOW experiences! The kids love being in "their" church and are excited to arrive and bring their friends.
