Creative Theme for Riverbend Church, Austin, TX

We've been doing some really creative "no-theme themes" for churches who don't want a traditional character or event-based theme. One such church is Riverbend Church in the hill country area of Austin, Texas.

We provided a clever and colorful theme for their main children's building, complete with a huge soft-contained play space you can walk under and two large worship rooms for elementary and middle school children. Each space is unique and provides a color schema that fits age-appropriately.

360 degree panoramic view of the elementary children's large group room
Pre-teen entrance next to the large play unit

Custom game stations for the pre-teen large group room

Riverbend is a fantastic church with a real heart for reaching their community. This space is a great example of the kind of innovative creativity from our team at Worlds of Wow!

North Texas KidMin Leadership Training

This past week we hosted a group of North Texas large church children's ministry pastors at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. We brought in two children's ministry gurus, Greg Baird (KidMin360.com) and Kenny Conley (ChildrensMinistryOnline.com) to share leadership principles and lessons for leading teams, leading across ministries and up to their leaders.

Greg and Kenny opened up the discussion to the nearly 50 attendees for shared experiences, practical advice and creative take-aways. Gateway Church's Ken and Mary Jackson hosted a tour of the amazing children's facilities and shared the heart and intentionality for reaching kids and families.

Here are some of the fun pictures from the 3 hour event. We plan on doing more of these across the country for peer-to-peer learning and networking!

Second Baptist Houston - Amazing Theming!

We're so excited to reveal the incredible theming our team completed at Second Baptist Church in Houston, Texas! The project included 18 classrooms, hallways and a large group space. Many of the classrooms are also used by Second Baptist School, a Christian college preparatory school for Pre-K through 12th grade.
Each of the classrooms incorporated a teaching station for showing videos or puppets, while also combining secure storage. We're thrilled with this project, and so are the children's ministry staff at the church and school! We took lots of fun photos and even some new panoramic pictures!

These are only a few of the classrooms and walls that we themed for this fun project. As we finished our tour of the completed building, we loved hearing from the church and school teachers how their students love the new themes and that they're even naming the characters in each room!

Memorial Baptist Church - Expedition Theme Completed!

This past month, we completed the new theme for Memorial Baptist Church of Bayside, Texas as they finalized their renovation project. The theme was adventurous with "Expedition Company" chosen. Custom branding, detailed airbrushed wall murals, 2D appliques and even a 3D tent entrance for thier children's large group room all came together in July.

The church's minister to children, Kay McDaniel, and the rest of the intrepid team at Memorial were great to partner with on this exciting adventure!

Feel free to click on any of the images below to see them in larger detail.

Fun Train Theme for Aldersgate UMC, College Station, TX

Our team heard the train coming in our meeting with the staff at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in College Station, Texas, and created a fun train experience for their Pre-K and Children's ministries.

Take a look at this fun airbrush project that incorporates wall-to-wall murals along with large appliqués and nice touches including crossing guards, fun signage and a depot check-in area.

Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Prosper, TX

We loved working alongside Dana and her team to transform Lighthouse's new facility. Really cool and inviting theme. We're a little biased, but we think Lighthouse has the coolest looking nursery preschool and elementary space in the whole Prosper, Texas area!

This is one of those projects that really resonates with many churches. Enjoy some great pictures of this terrific church theme installation!
Making it obvious for parents & kids where they need to go!

Love how the floor blends perfectly into the mural!
That's a happy hippo to greet little ones!
One of our favorite pictures! At the intersection of a great theme!
