3 Most Important Spaces for a Wow! Factor


1. Entry – This delivers the first impression for your guests but also for the kids each and every time the come to church. Set the tone for their experience no matter if it’s the first or hundredth time they’ve come to church that it’s going to be a fun experience to learn more. 








2. Signage – If you walked into your building and hadn’t been there before would you easily know where to go? Prominent, clear wayfinding signage points the way for families and kids to find where they should be. Add some themed element or your logo and the kids will identify it immediately.








3. Large Group – Want to grab the attention of your kids in large group during worship or teaching? Give them something to be drawn toward and focus their attention where you are! Create a backstage area with multiple ways to enter/exit the stage.

Everyone Needs A Treehouse...

Working with First Baptist Church of West Monroe was like working with family!  We had such a great time transforming their children's ministry space into a life-sized indoor treehouse.  

First West is sure to engage kids and families the moment they walk in at the first sight of the children's ministry check-in - you truly are entering a place designed just for kids!

Take Flight with a New Children's Ministry Project

We are currently finishing up the design for Stockbridge Community Church.  We can't wait to see the 3D paper airplane once it is hung beckoning the entrance to the Children's Ministry space.  

Did we mention we have the most talented staff of artists and designers?  They are a big part of what makes us the #1 company partnering with churches to create ridiculously cool, fun environments for kids.  Corey, one of our artists, has been working through each of the details as we prepare the finishing touches before installation begins.

Do Your Homework...

There are a few things to consider when beginning the process of creating an intentionally inviting environment.  One of those things that we strongly encourage is to do your homework!

There are a lot of theming companies out there, so do your homework!  Begin by interviewing them.  How long have they been in existence? Longevity can provide great reassurance that the company knows what they are doing.  How many churches have they served?  A deep and diverse portfolio will communicate the true abilities of the company.  Do they have the knowledge, ability and resources to incorporate all of your design needs?  So many churches are looking beyond the paint on the walls; they want indoor play structures, fun and engaging teaching stations, out-of-this-world 3-D pieces.   Don’t limit your vision because of another’s inexperience or lack of resources.


Request a list of references and take the time to call them, and if possible, go visit their completed projects.  This will give you a better sense of who you are considering for such a personal task.  Know what matters most to your ministry and ensure the prospective company is aligned with you.  Whether in person or over the phone, truly take the time to understand who you are considering working with.
